Betina Cress
Registered Marriage and Family Intern
Healthy relationships are built on emotional connection, trust, and feeling truly understood. I specialize in working with couples who feel stuck in recurring conflict, disconnected, or are working to rebuild their relationship after difficult experiences. Together, we'll identify the patterns keeping you apart and create new ways of connecting that foster security, understanding, and lasting change.
My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based model that helps couples strengthen communication, deepen emotional intimacy, and repair relationship wounds. I also work with individuals whose personal growth is impacting their relationships.
As a military service member, I understand the unique challenges that military life and other high-pressure careers can place on relationships. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore, heal, and reconnect.
I earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and have completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, including the EFT Externship.
