Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
Shelleyann is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern who provides therapy to adults and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She earned her Master of Social Work from Florida State University College of Social Work and completed her clinical training at the Orlando VA Healthcare System in Viera, where she worked extensively with veterans facing a wide range of mental health concerns.
Shelleyann's clinical approach integrates evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression (CBT-D), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Nightmares (CBT-N), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She believes that every client brings unique strengths to the therapeutic process and works collaboratively to help individuals develop practical skills, increase resilience, and achieve meaningful change.
With experience supporting veterans and survivors of domestic violence, Shelleyann practices from a trauma-informed perspective that emphasizes safety, respect, and empowerment. She strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, identify goals, and move toward healing and personal growth.
Shelleyann works with both men and women and is passionate about helping clients navigate life's challenges while building healthier relationships with themselves and others.
